April 22 is Earth Day. Earth Day Canada has a great website that can help you connect, participate or even help organize an event to celebrate and contribute to Earth Day. Have you ever wondered about the history of Earth Day or who started it?

Check out this cool little green plug-in from DoGood that allows you to support green initiatives with your web browsing.  The plug-in blocks generic website advertising and displays socially responsible campaigns and green initiatives instead.

Our Tech Scroller Sasha works on Greenscroll 24/7, and has come up with a nice little signature that you can use to raise the awareness of how e-mails contribute to global warming.

It's been a busy couple of days here at Greenscroll, first chance I've had to   blog about it. There's a lot of green news flying around and it's a full-time   role just trying to keep track. It should be stressed again that Greenscroll is   run entirely by non-paid volunteers, in our spare time, so forgive us if we're   not "on" 24/7.
