Greenscroll is not Green Scroll 1

Published on July 25, 2009

Before we get going with the official launch of Greenscroll, it''s important to make the distinction that we have nothing to do with a similarly-named site -- Green Scroll -- and the protests about the recent Iranian election.

That is based here and is focused on signing a petition in protest to "the fraudulent Ahmadinejad victory of the June 12, 2009, presidential election in Iran."

Almost two kilometres in length, the signatures were gathered in 190 cities around the globe over three days on July 12-14 and were sent to Paris to be sewn together to make the longest protest scroll in the world.
