There is a large social networking campaign going on for moms and the World Wildlife Fund. JB Chicago is trying to get the word out about healthy snacks for kids -- namely, chocolate milk served in cartons, which is also better for the environment. TetraPak is involved too, we believe.
The campaign was based around Halloween, but we're sure they wouldn’t if you check them out now. It is for an environmentally good cause, so we don’t mind giving them a mention.
JB Chicago created apps within Facebook, Twitter and the Web. On FB and Twitter, users can "trick" or "treat" their friends. Facebook allows you to view which of your friends are playing, and the Twitter app includes a ranking of the scariest Twitterers -- i.e. who is sharing the most.
On the Web, users can upload photos of their friends -- then the photos are uploaded on the bodies of dancing monsters. When you friends open the e-mail, they see dancing monsters (with the faces of their friends), ready to trick or treat. The Trick or Treat Me blog is where parents can find helpful (and healthy) snacking tips -- many of which come from the Food Network's Robin Miller.
